Fire Prevention

First I would like to tell you all about a new website to visit. The Shoshone County Fire
Prevention Coop now has their own website at www.firecoop.org
There you will find even more fire prevention information.

With the snow flying it is ever important to make sure you keep items away from the
heating device you use. Remember if you have not changed the batteries in your
smoke detector please do it now and at least yearly. If you cannot afford smoke
detectors please take time to contact us and we may be able to help. Also if you have
questions about types of smoke detectors or placement of smoke detectors please let
us know we would love to help.

Our volunteers are always ready and willing to come out and help with smoke
